anyway, thank you to Jun ling who contributed clothes n abit of stationaries for the collection. A total of 3 backpacks of clothes, stationaries and bagsss are donated. Hope the kids like it.

Ok... now talk about being stuck. i''m stuck on my Fort canning project. STUCK STUCK STUCK n nuffnag has not started any ad campaign on my blog n that means future bucks is STUCK.

Gather your stuff for the children!

ANNOUCEMENT ANNOUCEMENT

SAJC is having a donation drive in preparation for 3 Oversea Community involvement Programme trips.

Donated items will go towards children centres in countries like Hanoi, Chiangmai and Karimum. Items NEEDED:
1. Story books, picture books(for children:3-12yrs old)
2. Clothes (for children:3-16yrs old)
3. Stationery (Pens, pencils, sharpeners, etc)
4. Toys (for children:3-12yrs old)--> stuffed toys also can & make sure it is CLEAN!
5. Bags (of any size, preferably canvas bags)
6. New toothbrushes and toothpastes (hygiene program)
7. Educational games set, card games(snap, uno, etc)

Collection will be on 14th October 2007, SUN, 9.30am - 1.00pm at Diocesan Centre Building, inside St Andrews Village, Potong Pasir.

Do bring these items and do it children of these 3 countries! Do contact me on how to bring the items to the Diocesan Centre or u can't make it on the 14th. I CAN COLLECT FOR YOU!

School juz started and i'm so busy till my laundry has not been done for a week! EEKs!

Wow! Finally my group completed the tower just in time for crit on thursday(actually already finished on wednesday).

We had steamboat in school on wednesday night celebrating our completion. In this short entry, i got only enough time for the final picture with us, the 11 studio 8-ters and our very supporting tutor in the middle.

Back to sanity

Okay okay... my sane-self is back. Now at 2.57am without my glasses or contact lens, i'm typing this on my studio-mate's laptop. We suppose to sleep at 1am and wake up at 2am to continue with the plywood structure panels.

So far, studio mate A and i woke up at 2am with studio mate B still awake and reading and reading.

3am, studio mate C woke up and A went back to sleep.

So left D,E and F still deep in their sleeping-bag-dreams.

Guess i shall do some CAD-ding and play around with some 3d. I'm so awake...

Mental illness?

Think i nid to move out n check into a mental hospital... bloody house... argh

hASHbrown's shameless plea again...

Getting a little more comfortable with school and the lateness of my lessons. It either starts at 12 or 2pm except for Friday, it is a scary 9am lecture.
I learn from my classmates last night that in Archi, there are a few permanent residents in studio. Which means they stayed overnight in school, sleeping under the table with sleeping bags and of course, free air-con. I think i might do the same on future Thursdays when my lecture on Friday starts at 9am. That means i don't need to wake up 2 hours in advance for school.
Hmm... got to prepare my sleeping bag, floor mat, toiletries, and my ipod charger for my Sausage(ipod) to led me to dreamland.

Right now, i'm printing heaps of notes and stapling them. My papers are yellowed and recycled ones.
I need:
- 1 rim of A4 paper
- 1 big stapler
- 1 stapler that can be flatten and put into my pencil case(MUJI or lookalike ones would be nice)
- Pro account for my flickr photo page for only $24.95
- Hole puncher (my 6 year old one is spoil)
- a thermos mug to drink my dose of tea (i have 1 year supply of tea bags at home)
- I think that's all for the moment, BUT...maybe a back pack and a thicker comfy sleeping bag :P (okay this is a want, not a need)

Sigh.... i'm a poor student....

New start on old me (M18: "violence" involved)

School has started and i had a little shock to see the people working in school. This new start for an old me who is around 3 years older than the rest is pretty challenging, but i likeee.... :P

Last Monday, we, year 2s had the project briefing. Two days after that, my other poly friend told us people are staying over night to rush and we were pretty stunned. Chinese saying is 夸张。

So over dinner, we began to talk crap on many ways to "stop" the others from working too fast and spoil the "market".

Not all methods are listed and i hope there is NO year 2s reading this. If you are from year 2 Archi, please close this window and read other resourceful, inspiring, architectural websites.

• Make them lazy by constantly feeding them with cakes, soft drinks, fried food, all the fattening stuff.
• Deploy remote controlled gadgets to destroy potential study/final models
• Act blur and do 'badly' during class but have secret plans at home. The rest will start to work abit lesser as we have brought the standard down. When it comes to the submission day, we unload pick-ups and lorries loads of Design journal and study models, final models and 1:1 mock ups.
• This method is purely sadist and not advisable BUT it is damn good. Spray sleeping gas 5 days and another time, 12 hours before submission. Those who got it will fell asleep and stop doing their work. Imagine when they woke up and discover that their stuff are half done. Tell them "You are dreaming!".

If anyone tried the above mentioned tactics, drop me an email and let me know how it went. :D

Quality time with hASHbrown, myself

First day of school today n i got abit mixed up with the time. My model training workshop starts at 4 on Tuesday! See wrong group! So for monday, my classes only starts at 2! Silly me! Ah!

oh well, i took tis morning to clear abit of my table n went out for breakfast at my fav 'dao huay' shop.

Still got a few hours to 1pm to leave for sch. i am now listening to my ipod n my ears r pinning for deeper vocal juices. New audio gadget?! Shhesh..... having a bad poison. It causes my knees to go weak n my fist size heart melt. Swirling into the bass of heavenly voices. ooooohhhh...... might hv to control till weekend to test out e systems.

anyway, here's a little update on wat i did over the national day weekend.

Shooting n more shoot n 2 movies in a row! Certainly delightful to capture e TRUE colours with 3 other pros. The feeling is very exciting when i got to wait for the film to be developed. I took a few shots on digital n tried to restrict myself to film. I am using a roll of Kodak film from my friend who left it in my action sampler.



As for the movies, i met up with 'not the usual suspects' n ran round sim lim to get stuff n headed to suntec for a movie.

Simpsons movie is what we wanted to catch as a group n I'm surprised tat Keith wanted to watch too. Okay, due to unknown vibes, we bought Bourne ultimatium(wrong spelling) as well. I tell you, this Bourne movie is so much better n exciting than the classic james bond movies. Jason bourne is without gadgets n lots of brain cells n muscle tissues. I enjoyed the whole movie n walked home feeling like Elecktra with the FBI.

There's too much to update bout the exciting hot weekend so as usual i leave my pics to do the talking.

Happy Birthday Singapore!

Today is Singapore's 42nd Birthday. This will be my 1st time celebrating National Day with my 'pink' ic. The past years, i was still holding on to the blue, half-privileged Identity Card. I thank God for this new blessing cuz with a blue ic, there's monetary help tat i cant apply for. Hope this entry is enough for your eyes, anyway, i dun know why the 1st pic is so pixelated. Argh...
