As archi students, we have to keep awake to squeeze the most time out to finish our work, presentation, models, sketches and drawings. Let's start the ball rolling to compile a list on how to keep ourselves awake. I'll update this regularly and put the link up on the right side of my blog.

Have you wonder how far your food travel from the farmers' hands to the supermarket to your house? Or from the farm to the market to the food stall and finally to your stomach?

I remember seeing movie reviews about Food Inc on the papers. Perhaps the reviews doesn't impact me as much until i was reading a green living blog feed. I

I went to the movie's official website.

I was blown away.

The site's main page has a very beautiful blue sky and a delicious looking fatty cow that reminds me of the succulent tender thinly sliced shabu shabu beef that i crave for once in a while.

As i do a quick browse thru the site, issues on our food journey is scary.

In context to Singapore's lack of natural resources and land, how NEAR can we go to get our food?

I read a newspaper article a few weeks back on the fishes that we are eating. The sources of fishes that we are eating might be fully exploited or over-fished. Hey, fishes do run out.

Random idea...Fan at ATM

So far the vote for which dress colour to get is:

2 blue

shall wait till next week then decide.

As for the random idea: Was withdrawing some cash for my dental appointment. The weather was hot. Singapore weather is ALWAYS hot.

Was thinking that ATMs should install fan tat blows at ur face when u stand infront of it. Perhaps the fan will be on when u r pressing on the buttons.

and when the cash is rolling out, the fan speed is higher..... Imagine e wind in ur hair when u withdraw $$$$$.

*add on to wad i found online today. The Star Wars Imperial March song makes the video hilarious.

Alarming findings

Since i got time after lecture and no mood/inspiration to research for my disertation, i decided to tidy up my blog and do some CNY greeting with help from Singa lion. *see latest post above.

I logged on to nuffnang and cleared some stuff on my blog to get my glitterati status and monitor some stuff.

This feature is pretty useful. Now i can know where i land on google.

But this result is quite disturbing.

Last semester!!!!

I know i have not blogged for a month. Some ppl are questioning me. Sorry la... busy with school. Taking 4modules is scary for an archi student.

On top of it, i got my dissertation to start on(outline by CNY) and 10 Guest Lecture review to hand in by April. Mammonth stuff!!!

This is my so-called last semester as an undergraduate in NUS, but this doesn't mean i'm FINISHED with school. I STILL have another year to go for my masters.

At the start of the year, our tutors treated us pizza after we presented on our Shanghai-China trip.
Yummy yummy.




DTS(Design Technology Studio) had a new old place. They renovated some com labs and combined space large enough for 4 studios. Bad point is, the sides are glass = Fish Tank. People always stare at us when they walk pass.

Busy start for 2010

Wow wow wow.... I've stepped into 2010 for Year 4 Semester TWO!

School suppose to start officially next week but i've already been going school for 3D Rhino lessons. Despite getting on my toes for CORS module bidding and school, i've spent my New year with a nice bunch of friends. ;-)


Hopefully 2010 will be a good year for me.
