Update yourself on the flu thingy that is going on...

http://swineflu.breaking.sg
Seems like the worse is from Butterfactory. Buttered up themselves badly. Biggest cluster of infection.

Adding on, legendary Michael Jackson has passed away from cardiac arrest and stopped breathing(shall not joke about his nose). He has been part of my growing up memories.

Another long awaited post. *wall of text ahead*

Oh man... i'm so lazy to blog! argh. So disappointed with myself. A forwarded email from my poly classmate triggered this post and i shall not make my readers bored!!!! YES!!! YOU ARE NOT BORED ANYMORE!!!

Ok. i better stop going bonkers and let u read this long 'poem' about relationship between man and woman and marriage. Kinda true for most of the parts. Shall leave my comments at the end of this lengthy chinese text.

以前提到结婚,想到「天长地久」;
当初会结婚,说是「看上眼」;
婚前,爱情是神话;
男人花钱,是为了让女人高兴;
嫁入「豪门」,要懂得理财;
以前的人,视婚姻生活为「一辈子」;
婚前,男人在餐厅等女人;
婚前,男人经常找女人「讨论」;
婚前,男人对她悄悄讲话;
恋爱时,情话绵绵;
恋爱时的男人,喜欢「毛手毛脚」;
婚前,情侣做什么都是「浪漫」;
想结婚,是自己已能独立;
婚前的男人,大都很幽默;
女人的记性,吵架时最好;
恋爱时,一见面就「亲嘴」;
婚前,男人常给女人「空白支票」;
恋爱时,生活「妙不可言」;
婚前,男人天天盯着女人;
热恋时,总相许下辈子再结良缘;
大男人,会「作威作福」;
婚前,「谎话」都是「情话」;
婚前,靠近一点;
婚前,没话找话说;
男人没有女人,耳根清净;
男人「入错行」,上班会很痛苦;
好女人,养坏男人的胃口;
婚前,男人像传令兵;

出生一张纸,开始一辈子;
毕业一张纸,奋斗一辈子;
Graduate 1 paper, fight for 1 lifetime
婚姻一张纸,折磨一辈子;
Marriage 1 paper, torture for 1 lifetime
做官一张纸, 斗争一辈子;
金钱一张纸,辛苦一辈子;
Money 1 paper, hardship for 1 lifetime
荣誉一张纸,虚名一辈子;
看病一张纸,痛苦一辈子;
悼词一张纸,了结一辈子;
淡化这些纸,明白一辈子;
Dissolve all these papers, understand one's life
Forget all these papers, happy for life!

The ending of the poem talks about some matters in life that affect us for a life time. I shall translate the best i can out of my O'Level B3 chinese.
The person who wrote this poem either believe badly in marriage and have no hope in life. Although it seems kinda funny to read it, i prayed that the author will find love one day. The ending of the poem somehow show his way of forgetting/ getting over problems. Maybe the easy way out. What do you think about it? ^^

After exams, i've been playing this Restaurant City game on Facebook. Found some funny and cool restaurant layouts shown in this website. Enjoy.

Some interesting reads i found online while searching for images of some landscaping plants and these people are true-blue local talents. If you like nature, do check out Lazy Lizard tales. A very informative site on local floral and fauna, natural heritage.
This NUS student/graduate's writeup on lost islands of Singapore caught my attention too. A-student leh.... ^^

Dug out a photo i took last/last last year at Bugis. Albert Street considered a 'lost' street too?

Do check out some of the links i posted at the site of my blog. Really interesting and inspiring websites for bored people who got nothing to do. No kidding.
Furthermore(in a thick skin mode), please check out the nuffnag or advertlet advertisements on the top right column of my blog. I'm hoping to earn a bit of pocket money from blog traffic and I'm doing my best to entertain my dear readers.
