Really glad that exams are over. I used to love exams when i'm in sec sch because i noe holidays are coming! As i grow up and move into tertiary education, i dread exams. o(>.<)o

As for now, holidays means time to rush to work and earn $ to cover expenses for my next school term. Not alot of ppl know bout this and i think my readers shld know why i'm always working.

Whatever stuff i buy, eat, use is from my pocket. Nothing comes from my parents other than the roof over my head. 

My school fees for NUS is covered 90% by bank loan and 10% cash. 10% cash will be around 1.2k per academic year. Pay in 2 sememsters, $500+ and $600+ half yearly. 

Food, entertainment, transport oso from my pocket. Holidays are: 1 month in Dec and 2.5 months in May-July, that's the only window of opportunity to top up my pocket. 

Got a maths problem for you!

Ah Lian spends $8 to buy a chicken, and sells to me for 9 dollars. Then she thinks that it is not worthwhile, and spends $10 to buy back from me. She sells it to another person for $11. I earned $1, but how much did Ah Lian earn?

...exams are over and i can rest in peace! *not kicking the bucket, i mean sleep. Sleep is important! On the morbid side, i might kick the bucket suddenly due to over ecstasy of architecture and readings or anything. I shall blog about something morbid when i have the time. ^^ (HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!)

anyway, i forgot what i want to blog this time round. Had too much fun after exams(actually only a good meal at Soup spoon).

To Martin's many comments, the group photo is given by my friend and i fix all my photos that are posted online at 800px width due to copyrights issue. I wouldn't want someone to leech my photos and pass it off as his/hers. There is stock photography websites where they can make $$ out of it and not me. Although mine are not the best, it is good to have some precaution. In case i get famous in future. :p Hope u get wat i mean. If you want any photos, i won't mind sending it to you at higher resolution. ;-) Let me know ya? I'll send u the "wallpaper" version without the text. You can add anything to it after that. I've sent 1 out to my classmate.

Talking bout posting photos online. I dunno whether i have posted anything bout why i dun put up photos of myself on my blog. Cuz my blog is open to search engines online(try typing hASHbrown on google or yahoo), any stranger on this surface of mother earth can see my face! Who knows what he/she will do to my picture rite? It might surface on some forums or weird discussion or even fashion police!

Over and done with...and i hate sentosa

Phew! Crit is over like in 5mins??? 10???? Feels like a zap of time!

However, 1 hour and 30mins before the crit feels like 3 hours to me.
1st: i stepped out of house 3omins late. Then i waited for 57, which can bring me to harbour front in 20mins. Waited for 15mins for just 1 bus. Nvm...

The bus went pretty fast until it start to slow down and crawl like snail at Shenton way. >.<>

wasted my $6.80 on cab fee after Vivocity. i alighted there and took cab.

Here's the added story to the cab journey. For the 1st 2mins on the cab, i was busy thinking of my presentation, how i am going to explain my project and how to sell the idea to the critique panel.

After the 2nd min, the cab driver suddenly jam brake. I peered to the front, left and right. NO VEHICLES! He brake for what???!!! So i start to observe his actions. He's rubbing his eyes, touch his nose and his steering wheel shifted left and right by 0.5°. My goodness! There are a few jerks of braking in point-something of a second and i had zero-point-something-something skips of heart beat and zero-point-something cubic centimeters of air being held on in my little lungs.

All these little actions went on till i reached my school's foyer. I felt like i have spent 1 hour on the cab. I paid the uncle and asked him at the same time if he worked from night shift. He replied with a smile and didnt really answer yes or no.

Instead "look very tired ar?". Argh.... if i haven felt my life being endangered, i wouldnt have ask lah...

I got off the cab and offered him 3 drops of Clorets sweet i had in my bag. Wake up la, uncle.

Oh well. Time flew when my presentation is like less than 30mins after i arrived. So far so good. Nothing major from the panels. BUT MY PRESENTATION BOARD ISH U-G-L-Y. Only model nice. Here's a bad attempt at photoshopping, top view of my model and 1 interior shot.

my sleeping pattern getting very weird... sleep start time around 4-6am... wake up latest 10am... but must finish project! submission on Thursday and I'm going to get bonkers if the site model and test model is not done up!!!!

Gone as fast as an F1 car...

To be in sync with the current buzz going around town, i believe my 1 week break passed as fast as my eye can blink, as much happenings as the near-crash-encounters of an F1 car has.

As everyone has waited for me to blog something bout the holiday, i shall recap on what happened from the last week of school till the end of my holiday.

After submission, my week has been pretty relaxed. However, my other tutorials end at 6pm and i have appointments at 7pm... so 1hour to zip out of NUS and to bugis area. I tell you.... tell you......the MRT is argh!-crowded. I have seen this video for a few times. After squeezing and rushing for trains, i agree 100% with this video.

Finally...... my bed.

Firstly i would like to apologise to my cell group for not able to make it for the BBQ. Got alot of crop up in my group project, so i got to extend my butt-on-chair-fingers-n-palm-on-com time in school. For the record, i've stayed in school from 7th till 9th and from 10th - 15th. Don't think i didnt change my clothes, didn't bath and have flies hovering around my head. I do bath. What we do is to walk to the nearest hall, which is XXXXXXX hall(not suppose to do so) take a shower and walk back. The only shower cubical in my department does not have water heater. So imagine taking a shower at 3am. @_@

But i do have my ways to shower at that cubicle. :P use your brain use your brain. if you wanna find out, just ask me.

Okay, now the good news is. MY PROJECT IS OVER AS AT 15th SEPT 08 6PM. Bad news is, my group presentation panel doesn't look that good. It's like selling an genuine Prada bag at a pasar malam shop. Ya la, good stuff but presentation not good. Well, the stuff have been handed in so no more changes. My group's grades has been sealed.
Hopefully this is not the direction of my 3rd year grades, presentation is tmrw 2pm. *pray hard

For some little uncalled for update, i've finally succummed to Facebook. I got like 20 over invites and none of it made me sign up for it.... Tilll...... my friend's baby arrived. In order to view the new born's smiley photos, i signed up for Facebook. Ah... the power of babies.

School school assignments and sleeping on table

Wow... been almost a month! I have NO new photos to update cuz i have NOT been shooting. Damn sad.

Anyway, year 3 has been a very busy time for me. Even with a free Wednesday, it is mostly taken up to do design work. I have a good workable group. Managed to complete panels in time n have time to nap.

Very difficult to complete work over the last weekend as i had Officers' retreat and gotten sick again. Miraculously, the peak of my flu/sore throat on monday turned so much better and faster on tuesday. Usually it takes me days to get well without medication.

The table next to mine is a new friend whom i got to know this semester. Her "mountain" started from the very 1st week of school and today, i've gotten her "mountain". For right now as i'm typing, there is "Twin Peaks".



Ok. Don't worry. I'll clear the mess very fast one. Anyone wanna get me IKEA vouchers?

Oh ya, i revisited a favourite youtube video and its very lame. By a comedy duo from japan called RAHMENS. I do find the guy without specs good looking. I laaiii-kiiii. *new video...the Origami one dunno why no more...

Thanks for your concerns. Some of you may have know from me that someone at home will nag at me for using computer(waste electricity... bo liao... use for wad) and disapprove of me editing photos(same excuse, waste electricity... bo liao... do for wad...). Every time i want to on my com, the nagging will start. How i manage to blog now? As long as my screen shows a wall of text, he's okay. Damn weird and ''siao'' la... what to do... protest oso cannot. Even if i hide in my room and do, same thing.

Sian... sick again! Still throat infection but this time round is really throat. Not my tonsils.
Saturday morning, i reported sick for work and laze around and drag myself out of house to see my family doctor...
As i stagger to the clinic 400m away from my house, low and behold, they are closed!!!! time check was 11.15 but the opening hours state that they close at 12.30pm! wth...

no choice i got to go to the other one which i hardly go to. The doctor wasnt as friendly as the one i always go to. Strangely, the anitbiotics that he gave, take 1 pill 3 times daily, which i thought suppose to be 2pills 3times daily. Like not strong leh! By evening, i'm still coughing like some TB patient and having fever up and down, toasting bread on my forehead.

Sunday, woke up with terrible migrain on the left side of my head.

CONTINUED SLEEPING... WAHAHAHAHAA

anyway, i realised Apple have a pretty good sense of humour.
